The Knucklas community orchard was planted by the Project in 2010 for the benefit of the community.

We are indebted greatly to Adam Davies of Skyborry for setting up this wonderful orchard! Also to Andy Kenyon-Wade for the orchard plan and the Powys Environmental Partnership for funding the tree purchase. Also, of course, to the many volunteers who gave their time and effort to plant 80 trees.

Here is a map of the orchard with information on each tree – just click the tree on the map.

Every tree has a permanent label with details and a QR code for your smart phone to find more information.

Sponsor a tree label

You are invited to sponsor a tree label – £3 for one or £2.50 each for two or more!

You can add your name to the list in the village pub, or use the “Contact us” page here.

Tell us:

  • which tree(s) you would sponsor (give tree number and name),
  • your contact details and how you will pay (cash in the pub, or cheque by post);
  • either your name or any text you give us will go onto the tree information below unless you say otherwise;
  • also if you would like a picture with it please send one.

Click here for a Tree list. Note that some will already be sponsored – click the tree on the plan to see if anyone has sponsored it. A copy of the plan is here: Orchard plan (2.5MB pdf file)
